Networking Mommies
Stay-at-home moms will (usually very readily) tell you that they have full-time jobs, but many miss the camaraderie of the workplace environment. One way to make sure you stay in touch with the outside world is through social networking… specifically for moms. Most people know about Facebook, LinkedIn and MySpace, but there are several sites that are more parent-focused and information-driven. One of the largest and well-known is CafeMom.com, but you can also try Babble.com, ParentsConnect.com, MomsNetwork.com, or even Meetup.com.
